Rai Mondo’s second album. Following his first album “Alpha Nostalgia,” this work continues his project of using Greek letters for his titles.
Although he is rooted in Detroit and IDM-style sounds, the music is not strongly techno-focused; instead, it blends various genres while maintaining a cohesive atmosphere. You can also sense the process of him evolving day by day.
At the moment, his music is officially released only on FORM@ RECORDS, but I believe he will eventually become active on a wider scale.

Drifted Vol. 4 continues Wahn’s journey into immersive, bass-driven ambient. Each volume of the series is released on a different label in a different country, tracing fragile lines of connection across borders. After France, Bulgaria, and Germany, the path now extends to Japan, with his first release on FORM@ RECORDS.
This new chapter softens the darkness without abandoning it. Heavy sub-bass grounds the listener, felt as much in the body as in the mind, while slow-motion textures unfold like tides of memory. The atmosphere is still intimate and melancholic, yet more open, letting light pierce the surface. Piano notes, scattered like brief illuminations, bring moments of breath and reflection amidst the weight of sound.
Drifted Vol. 4 is both continuation and transformation—anchored in the rhythmless, cinematic essence of the series, but reaching toward new emotional depths, new geographies, and a more fragile hope.

Low Communication is the project of Bohdan Linchevskyi from Ukraine. While he hasn’t been releasing music for a very long time, he has been active for quite some time, originally leaning toward an ambient style. In fact, in 2024 he released several works in quick succession on labels such as Byrd Out, Neotantra, and EQ, which were ambient, experimental, and soundscape-oriented projects.
However, under the name Low Communication, he does not confine himself to ambient, but continues to change and evolve within the broad field of electronic music.
The album released this time on FORM@ RECORDS is characterized throughout by strong beats and basslines. While rooted in a minimal sound, the tracks also feature dynamic shifts and clear melodies, reminiscent of late-90s Detroit minimal techno.
It seems certain that Bohdan will continue to accelerate his activities while transforming his style in the future.

He is already an artist with many releases to his name. As mentioned in his bio, in today’s age where anyone can easily create music with a DAW, he remains committed to hardware, pursuing a primarily live-oriented method of creation. When you listen, you can clearly sense this—it’s covered with a light, natural layer of noise, and the sound never becomes excessively bright.
At first it may seem like an ambient or experimental work, but then strong beats emerge. Many of the tracks are melodic as well, making it very compelling. I truly hope this can be an opportunity for you to also explore his other releases.

James Cook is an electronic music producer from the small state of Connecticut. Heavily influenced by later waves of IDM music, James began crafting an unconventional, genre-blending sound that evoked the landscapes of his surroundings, releasing his first full-length LP “Sleep Deep, Mountain King,” on British imprint, Greta Cottage Workshop in 2013.
In 2015, James adopted the moniker “Black Point”—a visual reference to his nebulous production style, releasing “EP 1” on German imprint, Out to Lunch.
“EP 2” on FORM@ RECORDS is a retrospective on the decade that followed, each track a memento to a time and place.

FORM@ RECORDS originally started with the intention of releasing good music widely without fixing on a specific genre. However, as a small label, there were also difficulties. When we released the compilation Art Form 1 in 1997, we offered a solo work to an artist called Tensor who had participated, and as a result, under the name Dendrobium, an abstract, downtempo work was completed. This became the trigger for us, as a label, to start a series of works expressing freely without being bound by frameworks such as techno or house. That is the sub-series called SLIT ART.
Since restarting label activities in 2024, we have gradually increased releases under the name SLIT ART. Various demos in various styles are sent to the label from various artists. This time, from among such tracks, we especially gathered those centered on ambient and dub, and also asked artists to provide tracks from the label side, compiled them into one album, and decided to create the first compilation in the SLIT ART series.
This is also a big challenge for the label. With this as a starting point, we sincerely hope that the series SLIT ART will become more recognized and developed into a continuing series.

The latest installment of FORM@ RECORDS’ popular compilation series, Art Form, is finally here — Art Form 4.
Although it has been released only about half a year after the previous volume, getting to this point was by no means easy. The concept had been in mind since the Art Form 3 era, and right after that release we began gathering tracks for this new compilation. At one point, we thought we might be able to release it as early as April or May. While the tracks our artists sent us were all outstanding, they were also quite diverse in genre, which made it difficult to achieve a cohesive compilation.
As a result, we decided to create the first-ever compilation for our sub-series SLIT ART, with a different musical direction from Art Form. By separating the tracks according to genre, we reallocated the submissions and planned to release both projects simultaneously.
We could share many behind-the-scenes stories, but above all, we are simply happy that both projects are now complete and ready to share with you.
Incidentally, with the exception of Missing Project, the lineup of artists on Art Form 4 is different from Art Form 3. This happened partly by chance, but also reflects our intentional choices. This does not mean we have grown distant from the artists who appeared previously. We see the Art Form series as a continuing platform — a place to introduce new artists to our audience as well as to provide a stage for familiar artists to take on new creative challenges.
It may be a little plain, but it's a valuable track with an old sound texture that is different from recent works.
By the way, it also includes the version that became the basis for "Beyond The Dense Forest" included in the "Forest World EP" released in September 2024. We hope you enjoy the difference.

Like many artists today, Rai Mondo is heavily influenced by the 80s and 90s scenes.
He will release an album of tracks that build on that with his current sound. He has already released many works on his own Bandcamp and SoundCloud, and this album was also released on SoundCloud in the past, but we felt it was a fitting album to be the first to be released on FORM@ RECORDS, so we decided to release it.
Many people will likely be hearing his work for the first time, but we hope you will take this as an opportunity to check out his other works.

Virgo produced many tracks between 1996 and 2000. They started out as contributions to early cassette releases on FORM@ RECORDS, and were later released as tracks on his first album "Landform Code", his second album "Remnants", and the compilations "Art Form 1" and "Art Form 2".
Since then, he has resumed his activities in earnest in the 2020s, and has released new works on many labels since 2024, but in fact there were many tracks that were not released. Many of them were recorded as MDs and left, and they were converted into digital files and released together this time.
He will continue to release many works from many labels. However, while new tracks may be produced and increased, past works cannot be increased. Therefore, I think it is very rare to be able to release them all together like this. I think it was only possible because of FORM@ RECORDS, which released his early works.
Together with the "Unreleased EP" released digitally only earlier, most of his unreleased tracks will now be released to the public.

Virgo has a large collection of tracks that were created between 1996 and 2000. These were produced around the time of his first album, "Landform Code," and his second album, "Remnants."
Many of the tracks were selected for the album "Unreleased 1996-2000", but due to time limitations and other reasons, some tracks were not included on the album, so we decided to release them as EPs.
It may be a little plain, but it's a valuable track with an old sound texture that is different from recent works.

This is the third release of FORM@ RECORDS' subseries "Slit Art" following Dendrobium and Mitsely. As mentioned above, Morgen Wurde, who has been attracting attention in recent years for his continuous participation in Kompakt's "Pop Ambient", has teamed up with the familiar Tis to create an ambient dub that boldly features the trumpet of Japanese musician Tetsuroh Konishi.
Personally, I've been listening to Komapkt-related music for a long time, so this is very exciting for me. At first glance, it may seem different from the main focus of FORM@ RECORDS, but I think there is a certain commonality between the music that is not conscious of trends and the atmosphere. I hope you will listen to it many times.

Following the release of "Innocence Of Your Youth" in 2024, Erell Ranson's new album has finally been released by FORM@ RECORDS. It's not flashy, but it has a very delicate sound and track structure, and it's a masterpiece that has an atmosphere of "Just Breathe" just as the title suggests.

Darren Nye has released his second full-length album from FORM@ RECORDS. Despite being an original album, it is a two-CD set.
This work also includes valuable remixes by Ian O'brien, who has already retired from music, and remixes by Finland-based CRC.
This album is one of his best works.

The latest in the popular FORM@ RECORDS compilation series. Nearly 27 years after the release of "Art Form 2" in 1998, the third installment, "Art Form 3", has finally been released.
This time, the artists were mainly from Japan and the UK, and the participating artists were decided in the form of an introduction of each artist. Initially, the album was planned to be about 10 tracks in total, with one track per artist, but as the number of participating artists increased and all the tracks were great, it became a 2-CD set with 20 tracks. The lineup is very wide, including Detroit-style track, electro, ambient, dub, etc., not limited to IDM and electronica.
This is the first compilation of FORM@ RECORDS, which resumed in earnest in 2024. Many of the artists are familiar to you, but there are also some you may be listening to for the first time. If you like this compilation, please listen to what FORM@ RECORDS has already released. We also hope that you will be interested in other releases by each of the participating artists.
